In Malaga region you can find some of the most beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol, here is a list of the beaches that you can find in Malaga and in the surrounding areas.
Playa de la Malagueta is the most popular beach of Malaga, located 10 minutes from the city centre, this busy beach has a bit more than 1 kilometre length and all kinds of services and facilities, like bus stop and parking zone, restaurants, first aid, showers and much more.
Playa las Acacias is also very popular with over 1 km of fine sand, it also offers good facilities and services and a seaside promenade.
Playa Palo is close to the marina el Candado and has charming coves and all kinds or services.
Nearby Marbella, Fuengirola and Benalmádena offer great beaches and popular seaside cafés and restaurants.
Funny Beach in Marbella is a great beach for families. The promenade from Marbella center to Puerto Banús is a 7km walk by beautiful beaches, and if you are more into watersports you may go to Puerto Banús to try water-skiing.
To find some less crowded and quiet beaches you can go to Nerja, where you will find several small beaches with golden sand and pristine waters, or to the longer and beautiful beaches in Vélez Malaga.
