Travelling by plane

Thanks to its international airport Malaga is easy to reach from many European cities which offer frequent flights operated by airlines like Iberia, Ryanair, Spanair, Aer Lingus, Delta, British Airways and many others.

Once you are in Malaga Airport you can reach the city centre by bus or train. Take the bus number 19 running every 30 minutes or the Renfe train to the city.

Travelling by bus or coach

Malaga’s bus station is located in the Paseo de los Tilos. Different coach lines operate here offering transport to the main Spanish cities like Madrid or Barcelona and to other cities in Andalusia.

Travelling by train

Malaga’s train station is located in the Explanada de la Estación. There are trains to Madrid, Barcelona, Córdoba, Fuengirola (every 30 minutes), Seville or Torremolinos.

Travelling by car

If you are travelling to Malaga on your own car, you will find good roads linking Malaga with most coastal cities like Torremolinos, Marbella, Fuengirola, and also with important cities like Seville or Madrid.

Metro in Malaga

Malaga is developing an underground train service allowing visitors to reach fast and easy the most important places in the city. The metro of Malaga will have two lines, one running along the coast and the other going to the inner part of the city.
